Troy Mertins

Troy is an MBA candidate at the Ross School of Business. He is interested in impact investing, particularly within sustainable agriculture, and solving how to feed Earth’s growing population with a finite amount of land.

Prior to Ross, Troy worked in private equity at Stone Arch Capital where he analyzed investment opportunities, created financial models, conducted due diligence, and helped manage portfolio companies. Before Stone Arch Capital, he worked in corporate development at Optum doing healthcare mergers and acquisitions. Troy holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa.
Troy is a lover of the Green Bay Packers, the Chicago Cubs, hazy IPAs, running, volunteering with animals, and the great state of Minnesota.
