Ian is a dual degree student with Ross and the School of Natural Resources and the Environment. His main interest is finding ways that business can thrive without compromising on environmental or social values. In addition to his studies, he works as a research assistant with the Great Lakes Integrated Sciences Assessment, where he looks into how GLISA shares climate data to inform decision-making. Before joining Erb, he worked on economic development projects in souther Brazil that connected at-risk, rural communities with university students doing extension work. After graduating from the Ross BBA program, he served in Peace Corps Ecuador for three years in natural resource conservation projects: two as a volunteer and one as a volunteer leader. He is interested in learning more about systems and policies that will lead to a more prosperous, sustainable, and just society. He is from Detroit. Despite spending for years in South America, he is deeply passionate about his hometown. In his spare time, he enjoys running, learning languages, and produce.
