Evan Garfield

Evan is a first-year MBA student at the Ross School of Business. Prior to the University of Michigan, he studied Physiology at Brigham Young University. After graduation, Evan worked in corporate strategy for an insurance firm in the funeral industry. There, he led the strategic planning process and managed many different strategic initiatives. He is interested in working for a purpose-driven organization and in learning firsthand about how business can be a force of change in the world. Outside of the Social Venture Fund, Evan is involved in the Consulting Club at Ross and spends his free time with his wife and young daughter.
